The dad of three died on Friday, April 28 at the age of 32, according to his obituary. He worked as a construction laborer in Mountainside and was married to his wife, Mariana, his obituary reads.
Carlen is also survived by his father, Paul and his three daughters, Kaelyn, Kylee and Keira, his obituary reads. A fundraiser has been set up to support his daughters. As of Monday, May 8, more than $14,600 has been raised.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 1 and he will buried at a later date at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
